why would you need to eat/drink the consumables? they stack and take up 2 spots :/

When Chest first appeared. Bought 5 keys.

1 Salient Daggers Ins (r10)
rest Consumables.

Quite pleased that i got a Salient Daggers ins from it off my first key.

No, you can't carry them all in one go. That's why you need some friends to tag allong. Here's another 250 from a guildie:





And after she opened 250 times and got nothing cool I opened the chest with my keys and got this:
